The San Francisco Museum of Craft+Design offers a variety of special programming for our members and the general public. Panel discussions, lectures, special events, children’s programs, docent tours, and special group tours are offered concurrently with our exhibitions.

MakeArt Workshop: Within Two Hands: The Eye of the Collector

Come explore your own creativity in this fun MakeArt program. The workshop starts with a family tour of the exhibition Within Two Hands: The Eye of the Collector, followed by a hands-on art project led by internationally exhibited ceramic artist and recognized children’s instructor, Kevin Nierman, founder of Kids ‘N’ Clay Pottery Studios and co-author of The Kids ‘N’ Clay Pottery Book. Sponsored by COMERICA Palo Alto, Kids ‘N’ Clay, Burr, Pilger & Mayer Foundation, ACGA and CGAF.
